I have sent them a mail as well, I would strongly encourage everyone
to do the same in takes 2 minutes and it will probably have a result
    if we all do, thanks.

—Im v disappointed ot find that all Im going to see are the eps that
i already have on video, i know that the videos cut an episode from the
second series – it was set during hte Seige of Paris in the Franco
Prussian War, nad I remember it when i was a child….

does anyone know if this will be included evnetaully on TV?

i watched a bit of an epsiode yesterday, (the one where they have to
live in the warehouse and I think that i saw a v breif scene which may
have been cut from the video version. anne is about to go into the
new "home" in the ware house, adn she sees an Irish beggar – clearly
she's afriad that she and James may wind up the same way. I am
wodnering if this was in teh Video version

—it seems like they are pulling Secret Army which I was just
starting to watch, to put it on. But whats annoying me is that they
are starting with the first series which I already have on vidoe for
    years.

does anyone know if they will be running rihgt through the whole lot?
i want to see it from Series 3 onwards. and they seem to ahve cut
short Secret Army after only one series bieng shown so they may do
    the same iwht ON Line

    Carrie,

This is indeed very sad news to myself and my husband and to all I am sure
who are in this and other groups for programs in which Mike played such fine
and memorable roles. His worked touched all our lives.

I have left a message in the GuestBook and I am sure that you will pass on
our condolences, love and sympathy to his family and friends.

    With best wishes

I agree Mathias. I would be nice if they could
broadcast this to the US as well. Maybe who knows
with all the BBC dramas we get, maybe they'll run it
on BBC America (a cable channel).

    Hi William,
Granted you had to be ruthless to make a go of a business
but he may have, in my opinion, been a little too callous,
suckering his brother for the thing–hence maybe a bit of a
jerk-maybe a heel or a cad. Though, I never saw the series
from the beginning (now I have in these 4 eps) I felt that JO
was kinda a nice guy later on. He seemed, to me, in the first eps
that he was a bit of philanderer. Don't get me wrong, I like his
character. He has guts, stamina, and a determined attitude.

    Hi Megan,

Thank _you_, too, for the tip. This shop looks really interesting and
has, as you say, quite considerable shipping rates!

Have fun with the DVDs. Allthough maybe it will take a while from the
    Netherlands to Australia, wont it?

    Hi Megan,

I think Ebay ist always a good shot regarding DVDs. You can obtain the
Onedin Line quite cheaply at ebay and some sellers are shipping
    worldwide.

I just did a search and came up with the following example, the second
series for 20 Euros, plus 6 Euros shipping to any place in the world.
Sounds not to bad, eh? 🙂

    Hope that helps
