Hi Mathias,

UKTV Drama is one of the satellite/cable channels offered by UKTV –
another is UKTV Gold. It is not a free channel. In the UK it usually
comes as part of a package with other channels.

thank you very much for the info. It is a great pity
that we can't receive UKTV Drama.
A comeback to German tv screens is not in sight as yet

I agree Mathias. I would be nice if they could
broadcast this to the US as well. Maybe who knows
with all the BBC dramas we get, maybe they'll run it
on BBC America (a cable channel).

asking if they intend to broadcast more series of Onedin and will let
everyone know the response. But the more of us who express our
interest, the more likely they will be to show series three to eight,
so please do contact UKTV.

to do the same in takes 2 minutes and it will probably have a result

I have received a reply from UKTV Drama re broadcast of Onedin Line:

Unfortunately the rest of the series of The Onedin Line was pulled from
the schedule in October due to contractual reasons. We are pleased to
advise you that we will be showing episodes 4 & 5 on the 29th and 30th
December at 12.00 and 18.00. The rest of the series will be on from the
10 January at 12.00 and 18.00

I asked about the later series being broadcast but this wasn't referred
to in the reply.
