No,everything is kept secret.
Maybe after the memorial service there will be some news but the family wants to keep everything private at the moment.

Dear Onedin fans,A few days ago someone posted in the gilmore-stallybrass guestbook that Peter Gilmore had passed away Sunday 3 February 2013.
Because there was no official confirmation I didn't mention it in the group.Unfortunately today the sad news is confirmed by: Alan Pulverton; Equity; Roger Carey Associates

Only know that Anne and Peter don't give any interviews anymore.
Will try to contact the agency and get more info.

For the first 2 series there are 3 books:The Shipmaster
The Iron Ships
and The High SeasYou can all order them on amazon or sometimes on eBay.

They're called "Die Onedin Linie" and quite expensive.You can also buy the Dutch DVDs, less expensive, original speech and subtitles can be switched off. Called The Onedin Line or De Onedin Lijn. Series 1 to 7 are already released, series 8 will be released 20 September.

In Holland series 7 is released last week, series 8 will be released 20 September this year.
Original version; subtitles can be switched off.If anyone wants to order I would love to help with the translation.

In total there are 8 series. Series 5 probably will be released at the end
of this year; this is what Memphis Belle told. If series 6-8 will be
