Carrie, thanks for passing on the details of your visit to the NEC.
Would have liked to go but had other plans that weekend.The info you passed on from Mike Billington's very interesting – by
the way, Sheila Allen played Anne Webster in the pilot. She was
unavailable for the series which gave Peter Graham Scott (producer of
series one to three) the opportunity to offer the role to Anne
Stallybrass. More about this will (eventually) be posted on the
Gilmore Stallybrass site.Bill, as far as I'm aware no filming took place in Liverpool. The
pilot was filmed in Plymouth; series one to three in and around
Dartmouth, with some of series one at Exeter docks; the later series
were filmed in Gloucester and Milford Haven; plus the odd bit of
filming was done elsewhere in Devon and Cornwall i.e. Falmouth and
Charleston.Marianne and I are visiting Gloucester next weekend, in particular
the docks. Time permitting (I'm snowed under at work at present and
on holiday soon) will post details afterwards.btw the group has been a bit quiet lately, where is everyone???
