Australia is Region 4, but all Australian players are unlocked, so are
    region free.

and some other parts of the world are region 2. As sold a player will
probably only play the region you are in (USA in your case). As far as
the region compatibility is concerned many players can be made to play
back discs from any region. This is called region hacking and is not
as fearsome as it sounds. Check the list of players and the
instructions here to make your player region free enter the model an
    hit the search button:

    > http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks If you have a player listed there

you are ok. If not I'd suggest buying a cheap player, I don't know
about the USA but in the UK DVD players are for sale at less than £20
which I'd guess is about $30 and can be made region free.

    > The USA uses a TV system called NTSC, in the UK Europe and much of

the rest of the world the PAL system is used. The good news is that as
far as I am aware all DVD players will correctly play either system so
there should be no problem with that.

But, I guess a DVD would be OK, in the US, or elsewhere. Please give
me the possible address of any concern who can sell a Series 3 DVD.

    Hi,

You can also buy it from freerecordshop.com.  Their price for it is a bit more that at bol.com, but they have a lot more reasonable postage costs for outside the EU.

    Cheers,

    Megan.

    Hi Diane, Marianne, Bill,

Look on ebay.nl or another european ebay, and you should find it. For
some reason when you look on ebay.com it excludes non-english language
sellers even when you search for it. I bought my copy this way. I
found that http://www.nl.bol.com charged extra-high postage costs to
Australia, so I found the seller on ebay.nl much more reasonable.
Here's one I found that shipped worldwide:

24,99 for the whole series 3 seems a reasonable price though.

    Hi Reini,

Havent' ordered them yet, but I will soon, but when I do I think the
postage shouldn't take too long. It usually takes about 5 days to a
week from the UK, so I expect from the Netherlands it shouldn't take
    more than two weeks.

    Cheers,

    Megan.

    Hi Reinhard,

Thanks for that reference. I'd only found an eBay seller with a price
of about 20 pounds, so that price is a lot better. However, since I
last posted I found freerecordshop.com (or freerecordshop.nl) that has
it for about 20 euro, plus their postage costs only 3.50, versus the
18 euro that bol.com was going to charge me!

    Cheers,

    Megan.

    Hi Reinhard,

I'd prefer them presented in full episode order, but I'm just pleased
that more DVDs have been released. Only recently saw the first season,
so I'm keen to buy others cause I've never seen the show previously.
I'm looking to buy the dutch sets, but I have to find a retailer the
doesn't charge heaps for postage to Australia.

    Cheers,

    Megan.

    Hi Barbara,

I've got this DVD set, and it is four disks and coded region 4. Each
DVD is presented as one episode, ie. as a compilation of 3 or 4
episodes. I believe that region 2 DVD was also presented like this.

    Cheers,

    Megan.
