Cari , you're right. I guess I lived in Europe too long, and forgot about the voltage (Senior moment!). The only DVD player I have, at present, is in this PC, here. We don't carry Phillips, as a rule-usually Soni, or Magnavox are the standard fare-where do you live?LindaCari
