I have received this response from UK Gold re repeating The Onedin
Line on UK Gold/UK Drama:

Unfortunately, we no longer hold the rights to show The Onedin Line
on UKTV Gold. However, I will forward a request on your behalf to the
programme planning department for their consideration as this was a
popular series.

Their address is ukgold@bbc.co.uk
Perhaps if they have lots more requests, they will take some action
so do please contact the company.

I thought that UK Drama had the rigths till very recently! I now
have UK drama but it seems they won't show it!! sad – I would love to
see the other seasosn after 1 and 2

Hi there,
UK Drama annoys me….for a strange reason…they are sitting on
a gold mine of some of the most excellent series ever produced for
television including of course 'our' favourite The Onedin Line. They
hardly even broadcast now… 21:00 start is ridiculous….

I recorded most of the Onedin Line onto VHS Tape off UK
Drama…and since I recently acquired a DVD recorder was hoping for
a chance to put them there. No chance by the looks of it…
