look again, that was Thomas Heathcote as Lobo(tomy) Man, also in at
least 2 TOL (eg the sailor who led Onedin to the island of Santorin to
collect pumice, just before the volcano erupted — he presumably got
killed by rock avalanche)

casting notes remind me, Diana Rigg era "The Avengers", one episode
featured TWO actors playing the same character PAIR they did in TOL
about the Jonah they wanted to throw overboard

The UFO series is being uploaded to Rareshare.me.

Michael Billington appeared in these before he was in Onedin line I think.

Anyway nice to see him in another role, he is introduced in ep 04.

I've looked at these. Very good quality and small files so easy to download.
I use the free VLC player for these (
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html )

Paul Foster played by Michael Billington is on disc 2 episode 4, and is in
many of the other episodes as one of the main characters.

Quite enjoying a bit of 'vintage' sci-fi not seen these for years.
