I don't understand much of the language but with a bit of application
I managed to figure out how to register and then the ordering was
straight-forward. They certainly send to Australia, my copies of
Series 1 and 2 have arrived and the others are on their way. They
charge 20 Euros for postage, supposedly only one charge but I'm not
certain about that yet. There may be some way to turn off the sub-titles but for a reason I
cannot work out, not all of the text onscreen is visible making it
impossible to select something I cannot see. Perhaps a lista might
know what I can do to overcome this (something to do with aspect,
maybe?).> More info from my Onedin DVDs:

I went to the trouble of finding a region free DVD player so I can't
comment. There are plenty of el cheapo DVD players about now, if
you're stuck with a region x player, maybe investing in a cheap
region free one might do the trick. Also if you're planning to watch
DVDs on your computer, using the free VLC player with bypass any
region locks the installed-with-the-OS player might have (my Mac can
be changed 5 times then it sticks in whatever the last region was –
not a practical solution).Looking forward to ?how many? hours of the Onedin Line over the next
few months. I just hope that the rest of the episodes make their way
on to DVDs.Regards
