Slightly unlikely Onedin connection

For anyone who uses TheBox.com: there's a torrent for a 1980 "Audience With Edna Everage," which includes an appearance by (and a question from) dear old Jill Gascoigne. That should interest even the casual Onedin person (look at the date!), but real hard-corers will want to know that the man sitting to her left, behind Ned Sherrin, is my much, much-missed friend Gerald Blake, who directed many Onedin Lines, including the very last. I must confess to very mixed feelings on seeing him again like that. If you saw any of the News of the World coverage when he and Jill split, just forget it. Lies, end to end.
